What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure where a special hand tool (resembling an exacto blade, except with little "pins") is used to etch hair-like strokes just under the skin’s surface. Unlike tattooing, microblading uses a pigment as opposed to ink, and is implanted in the upper layers of the epidermis.
Microblading can fill in sparse brows or create an entirely new brow. Microblading results have a 3D effect, which adds realism to the outcome. By doing this, we can create brows that look like real hair strokes, rather than a solid color result given by traditional tattooing methods. Microblading can be done anywhere on the body.
